Annual. Oregano’s milder cousin. Marjoram is an excellent addition to herbed breads, omelettes, or soups. It can be used dried or fresh. Dried leaves tend to be more potent, and should be added towards the beginning of cooking time. If using fresh leaves, add towards the end. In the garden, they repel cabbage moths, making them a good companion for Brassicas. They also do well planted with asparagus, basil, rosemary, thyme, or lavender. Plants thrive in full sun and dry soil. They are drought tolerant once established.

Harvest: As needed, once plants reach 6” in height. Never harvest more than 1/3 of the plant at a time.
