Foxglove - Pantaloons (5" pot)
Biennial. Boasting the first split-flower shape, ‘Pantaloons’ is an entirely unique variety of foxglove. The large white blooms split up the sides, creating four even curtains. When petals flutter in a breeze, they reveal deep-maroon spots on their interior. Compact, well-branched plants will flower for many weeks, and are heavier blooming than other varieties.
Foxgloves are easy to grow, vertical accents to spruce up low light areas. Tubular flowers form on magnificent spires, and are an absolute hummingbird magnet. Cutting the main flower spike will produce side shoots that bloom into fall. As a biennial, Foxglove usually do not flower in their first year. In their second year they will bloom beautifully, self-seed generously, and then die.
